function Summary/Purpose: this function will set up and manage strategic analytic programs and projects for many core functions including Risk, Finance, Compliance, Information technology and HR and will also own the relationship with the Consumer Bank. The candidate will need to prosperously build relationships with senior leaders, their leadership abilities team and the various stakeholders all over the organization. The Program Manager will have financial responsibility to establish and monitor the budget both expense and capital, and establish relationships with strategic suppliers to identify and onboard development resources. A key aspect of this function is to partner across the organization to align with Information technology and functional teams to deliver data and analytical solutions to meet the program objectives on time and within budget

Essential Job responsibilities:
   » Understand the business function strategic initiatives, short-term and long-term goals and program/project priorities
   » Lgain about the business function and the current systems supporting the function
   » Working with business leadership abilities assess and communicate the u2018practiccapability/capability to deliver' prioritized projects
   » Initiate projects and perform project management tasks or assign a project manager and supervise the project management activities which include:
   » Initiating projects through the PMO process, whether waterfall or agile
   » Assigning external resources to the project
   » Getting estimates and contracting for work from other Information technology teams/vendors
   » Facilitating requirements gathering and estimation
   » Presenting at tollgate meetings
   » Managing the build and test phases
   » Preparing the project for release
   » Engaging agile teams and prioritizing their work for the program
   » Coordinating with scrum masters who will manage the execution of the epics, user stories, sprints and releases
   » Aligning deliverables for bi-modal projects/programs that include agile and waterfall teams
   » Manage CapEx/OpEx, including any FTE required to execute analytics projects. This requires coordination across business and Information technology teams to estimate costs which can include but are not limited to:
   » Incremental Hardware
   » Incremental Software
   » Integration Costs
   » Resource Procurement
   » Professional Services Support
   » Manage all spend including accurately tracking spend against Purchase Orders capitalizing spend including assigning time spent by resources which are capitalizable.
   » Coordinate release schedule
   » Conduct monthly budget reviews with senior leaders to show how actuals are being tracked and the trend for the year.
   » Communicate status to all functional stakeholders
   » Escalate and resolve program and project related issues within Information technology and the function
   » Perform other tasks and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
   » Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/IT or Engineering with 15 years + of Information technology practice
   » Minimum 7 years of Information technology Project or Program Management practice
   » Strong demonstrated program management and relationship building practice is a must
   » practice leading agile and waterfall programs
   » practice leading multi-million dollar programs
   »Internal candidates: Understand the criteria or mandatory expertise required for the function, before applying.

   » Employees who have completed 18 months in SYF and 12 months in current function are only eligible.
   » Last annual performance rating should at least be Strong Contributor / Critical talent
