job summary:

The Data Integration Developer is responsible for a full range of services from concept and design to testing including data integration, data modeling, and data quality.
-Work with business partners, architects, and database engineers to identify data analytics and reporting needs in an Agile environment (Jira)
-Develop and maintain data integration solutions (Informatica and Netezza)
-Collaborate with partners to create data quality solutions (Talend)
-Assist in translating business requirements into project or design plans
-Works closely with assigned business groups to define solution enhancements and requirements
-Audit processes periodically to ensure compliance to policies and standards.
-Assume responsibility for developing, implementing, and completing highly complex projects crossing organizational boundaries.
-Make decisions which may impact the direction and strategy of the department or function.
-Make decisions affecting the design, scheduling, and completion of projects.
-Utilize multiple advanced analytical techniques such as critical, creative, conceptual and intuitive thinking to analyze moderately high risk situations, generate multiple options and approaches while considering how the solution may change or impact the organization.
-Apply analysis to identify trends and predict future issues to effectively implement courses of action.
-Make timely recommendations to effectively solve problems, using independent judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations, and/or law.
-Professionally exercise discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day work
-Compliance with all processes, procedures, and standards applicable to the position including (but not limited to): SOC 1 ( Service Organization Controls 1), CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection), Change Management, Tariff (Open Access Transmission, Energy and Operating Reserve Markets Tariff), FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission), NERC (North American Electric Relicapability Corporation), U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and NAESB (North American Energy Standards Board)
-Complete all other tasks as assigned

   » Data quality solutions (Talend)
   » Data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical)
   » Data warehousing (Netezza)
   » Working on Agile software development team (JIRA)
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related technical field, or a minimum eight years related practice, required.
-At least four years in data management, required

Technical Capabilities - Must also be proficient with the following:
-Proficient at Talend, Informatica, PL/SQL
-Data modeling
-Data integration patterns
-Data warehousing
